The Board of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs, Inc.
extends an invitation to
Harvard alumni
to contribute an essay to
Success Redefined
You are invited to contribute a brief statement about your beliefs about success -- at home, at work,
and in the world. Your essay will be made available online to all who chose to read it. Your essay also may be selected for inclusion
within a printed anthology devoted to contemporary understandings of success; an anthology intended to be distributed to all current Harvard
students expressing an interest in entrepreneurship.
Your essay should total no more than 500 words. Your main audience is the
community of Harvard-affiliated entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs-to-be who
comprise the membership of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs -- and a wider network of
people interested in leadership.
Your topic is the definition of success as you now understand it. Your essay may
cover concepts such as: What people or personal experiences influenced your
understanding of success? How have events on the world stage shaped your beliefs
about success? How have your views about success changed over the course of your
career; the course of your life?
This is a demanding, highly personal task. And it is well worth the effort. Your story can have wide and lasting influence in the Harvard
community and beyond. Your perspective on success, simply and sincerely spoken,
is sure to stimulate and support those who read it.
The Board of Directors of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs -- and all present and future HAE members -- await
your contribution.
